Cancellation Policy & Guarantee Policy
Cancellations received within 48 hours of check in will be charged for the full stay. Please retain your cancellation confirmation email. If you do not show up for your reservation, your credit card will be charged for the full stay. Please note that special events, group bookings, and extended stays (6 nights or more) require a deposit at booking and a 30 day notice of cancellation.
Late cancellations can have a significant impact on small hotels like ours. Unlike larger hotels located in urban centers with a high volume of bookings, we are in a rural area with a limited number of rooms and a smaller team to manage them. When you cancel your reservations at the last minute, it can be difficult or impossible for us to fill the vacancy. When you make a reservation, we reserve the room for you and turn down other potential guests. If you cancel your reservation too late, we may not be able to fill the room at such short notice, resulting in lost revenue. We understand that unforeseen circumstances can occur, which is why we do offer a very flexible 48 hour cancellation policy. However, we also rely on our guests to honour their reservations and respect our policies. This helps us to maintain a stable business and provide all guests with the best possible experience. We truly appreciate your support in respecting our policies.
A valid credit card is required to guarantee that we hold your room. Final payment is processed at check-in. Rates are based on 2 people per room (double occupancy). There is an additional charge of $15 per additional guest (12 or over) per room. The Clairestone Inn reserves the right to refuse or cancel a reservation at any time.
